We can't wait to get back into classes and see how much Immie will progress this year and we'r also looking forward to her being part of our competition team!
When did you start dancing with Dancexite?
I have been dancing with Dancexite since last September 2020.
Why do you dance?
When my parents split, I started competition training at YDC and it helped me a lot. Before dance I was really shy and anxious but it has helped me come out of my shell. Dancing is just so fun and is something I really enjoy.
What are your goals in dance?
My goals in dance is to develop my skills further and compete, hopefully winning some awards for my team.
What is your favourite style of dance?
My favourite style of dance is either hip hop, litefeet or house as they are really fun and energetic.
What has been your funniest moment in Dancexite?
My favourite moment at Dancexite so dar is just the environment of the Zoom calls and how welcoming everyone is but especially I really enjoyed entering the online New Hope Dance Challenge competition as it gave me a space on a team which I can compete and learn again.
Congratulations Immie on being March's Dancer of the month!
