Friday 28th August, 2020 Dancexite opened up our doors again after the COVID Lockdown! We came back with a bang and hosted a dance workshop with the one and only Mr Youtube - a pioneer of the Litefeet style from New York. We love Litefeet here at Dancexite, so for us to come back for the first time to a dance class after such a long period of time at home during lockdown was a great feeling, and a huge honour to have Mr Youtube with us. The workshop was a lot of fun, and we were able to offer "virtual spaces” for those unable to attend in person via Zoom, which was a first for us and something we will definitely look into doing more of in the future.
Mr Youtube shared a lot of knowledge throughout the day, going through foundation steps and dances of the style, drills, combos and finished off by teaching us his latest chores piece to his Instagram dance challenge called ‘#Givethankschallenge
We hope to have Mr Youtube back with us again in the future because We LOVE Litefeet!
